It was last morning when veteran actor Nana Patekar's mother Nirmala Patekar passed away. Soon in the evening, her last rites took place at Oshiwara Crematorium where we see Nana with tears. Nana's close family members were present during the last rites. She was aged 99 and used to live with Nana and his family in a 1 BHK flat in Mumbai. The actor was unfortunately not with her when she breathed her last. Nana was closest to her mother and even talked about the bond with her in many interviews.

A couple of days back the Jolly LLB fame actor Saurabh Shukla's mother also passed away; actor Viineet Kumar tweeted, "We were planning something after shoot & the news came that @saurabhshukla_s bhai lost his mother. I was most of the time with him & noticed that he never said no to anybody who were asking for photo & it was endless..सोचिए आप होते तो क्या करते? Actors life is not easy."
