Reema Sen had acted in a few Tamil films including 'Minnale' and 'Giri'. She was expecting a lot of offers from the Tamil industry after acting in 'Aayirathil Oruvan' directed by Selvaraghavan. Unfortunately, she did not get any as expected. Even debutant directors did not approach her. Her Anna Nagar bungalow is vacant because of this. She went to Bollywood expecting offers there. Not many came her way. She only got a couple of films.

At this point of time she got a very good offer from a very big production house. The shooting of this film was to commence within a short time but news that she was going to get married started doing the rounds. Many started asking Reema about this. Even the production house phoned her and enquired about this marriage. The shooting of the film was also stopped, in spite of Reema explaining the situation. They are now on the lookout for a new heroine. Reema's Bollywood dream has also been shattered because of this.
