Stay did not stay for long on 'Badrinath'!

It was all a one day courtroom drama! After a long discussion at the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce, noted producer Ramu has withdrawn the case he had filed against Allu Arjuj's film 'Badrinath'. The decks are cleared now for releases today, on Friday, 10th of June, in the Karnataka region.
Kannada film producer and distributor Ramu, had given an advance payment of Rs.50 lakhs to Geetha Arts, a long time ago, to acquire the Karnataka region rights of 'Badrinath'. Last Monday, Geetha Arts declared that it is distributing the film 'Badrinath' in the Karnataka market and this alerted the producer and distributor. With the documents in his possession, Ramu had been able get a stay order for the release of 'Badrinath' in Karnataka. He says that the producers owe him Rs. 1.5 crores. Ramu had no alternative but to get a stay on the release the film, sources said.
Late Thursday evening, producer cum distributor Ramu compromised with Geetha Arts and revoked his stay order for the release of 'Badrinath'.
