November 13, 2010 (Sampurn Wire):Actress Gwyneth Paltrow may be very excited prior to the release of her film Country Song but not many in the United States are willing to share her excitement. Reports doing the rounds claim that the Oscar winner is close to anything but a country singer. However, that did not prevent the same critics from giving the actress a standing ovation after her recent performance at the CMA Awards. Country singer Miranda Lambert feels that Gwyneth Paltrow was at her best while belting out a country song on the CMA stage, and the actress did sound like a country singer.

Not everybody would agree with Miranda Lambert. Industry insiders are of the opinion that not only does Gwyneth Paltrow not sound like a country singer, she also does not look like one. The actress, however, did not show any signs of nervousness when she took to the stage with guitar in hand.

The film Country Song which opens in theaters at the end of December has Gwyneth Paltrow playing the role of a country singer who is forcefully put into rehab by her husband and manager. A fight ensues between Gwyneth Paltrows character and that of a rising star in the film when the former realizes that her song is being stolen by the latter.
