The nine-year-old daughter of rapper/actor Will Smith and movie star Jada Pinkett Smith has amazed music fans with her debut single Whip My Hair, a unique blend of pop and R&B which showcases her mature vocals.

The child star is signed to rap icon Jay-Z's record label Roc Nation, and she admits she wasnt fazed by meeting the 40-year-old music mogul, real name Shawn Corey Carter.

We went to this building, I don't remember what it was, but we had a meeting and I got to hang out with him and meet him, and it was fun, she told MTV.

The exciting video for Whip My Hair was unveiled on Monday, and celebrities including Kim Kardashian and Kylie Minogue have already taken to their Twitter accounts to celebrate the mini pop stars fresh sound.

Willow Smith is so beautiful!!!! I'm kind of obsessed with her! (sic), wrote Kim.

Willow says shes immensely proud of the song and its cool clip, and feels as though she can finally reap the rewards of all her dedication. She cites stars such as Lady Gaga and 80s rocker Billy Idol as her inspiration, as well as her musical parents.
