The 39-year-old actress is mostly known for her roles in Edward Scissorhands and Girl, Interrupted, and is now a certified veteran of the film industry with over 40 films under her belt.

It is this longevity which has ensured she has gained legions of supporters who constantly remind Winona of her cultural relevance.

Its weird to me. Sometimes I get these girls who are younger who say, I loved your movies growing up. I just think, Wow, that was really a long time ago and that influenced a few people. Thats really flattering to me. But I cant look at myself that way, she told Total Film magazine.

Despite her fame and loyal support Winona went on to reveal her reluctance to exploit her status. Referring to potential appearances on reality shows she categorically rejected any chance of her participating, regardless of the money involved.
