The 'Vicky Donor' actress has signed a movie with director Sirish, which will release in both Tamil and Telugu.

Yami Gautam narrated a story to a Tamil director, who apparently made it the basis of his new story and developed a script around it. In fact, the movie will be hitting screens this month itself! 

Apparently, Yami told Ravi Babu about an incident, when she was shooting for the Telugu film 'Nuvvila' with him. She was staying at the Sitara Hotel at Ramoji Film City during the shoot and even Ravi Babu had stayed there. But when she narrated the story, he was quite scared and could not sleep at night. He moved out of the hotel.

The film 'Avunu' is based on this incident. The film is slated for release this September.
