Priyanka Chopra has been one surprise package for her admirers and critics. While she took the route of Bollywood after being crowned as 'Miss World', she took a very unconventional path for her career in the glamour industry.

Starting off with negative roles in films, to doing films like 'Fashion' and 'Barfi', she has tasted success with most of her experiments.

However, she has been often lashed out with criticism for her experimentation for which she has no regrets, "I'm one of the few people who've always, consistently, had criticism. People find it interesting to nitpick about me. But I guess it comes when you keep trying to do different things," said Priyanka who further revealed that there were people who stopped her from taking chances.

"I remember when I took up 'Fashion' and also more recently 'Barfi!' I was told, why you are doing this and that," revealed Priyanka. But the head strong girl believes that till you don't play your cards well, you cannot win the game.

"You have to go with your gut. Sometimes it won't work. But if you don't go with your gut, how are you being true to the artiste that you are?” said Priyanka tossing the question back at her detractors.
