Director Prabu Solomon has sought the help of Greater Chennai Police Commissioner George to check the piracy menace which is spoiling collections at the box office.

On Tuesday, he called up George and registered a complaint regarding pirated versions of his maiden production venture 'Saattai', which were available in the grey market and on the web.

He also said that the movie was being aired on television sets in mofussil buses. "This has affected the collections of the movie", he stated.

Written and directed by M. Anbazhagan, a former associate of Prabu Solomon, 'Saattai' featured Samuthirakani  and Thambi Ramaiah in pivoted roles.
