It seems filmmaker turned actor Farhan Akhtar has become successful in his quest of portraying the role of legendary athlete Milkha Singh for an upcoming biopic based on the athlete titled as 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag'.

Farhan is already being backed with the support of the flying Sikh himself for essaying him on the silver screen. Milkha even appreciated filmmaker Rakyesh Om Prakash Mehra's decision to cast Farhan for the film. Even Milkha's daughter was heard of singing praises for the star and also admitted that Farhan resembles her father too much.

However, it's not only the athlete and his daughter who are bowled over by Farhan's dedication towards the role, even our Indian cricketing star Yuvraj Singh who is recuperating against the cancer that was detected few months back is impressed.

Yuvi met Farhan on his film's sets in Punjab and even appreciated his look. 'Met @FarOut Akhtar yesterday! I tell you man you look in serious shape! Junior Milkha rock on buddy' posted Yuvi on his micro blogging page.
