Zac Efron says that he doesn't believe there's a "perfect woman" out there for him.

The Lucky One star has not had a serious relationship since his split with Vanessa Hudgens in 2010.

But the 24-year-old actor told MTV that he is not holding out hope of finding a partner with no faults but hopefully one that is just suited to him.

"I don't think there is a perfect woman," he said. "I think that there's a woman that's right for you."

"I don't know what it is, I can't really quantify to put it into words but I just know that there's someone out there that you just click with and that's the moment that you know.

"Some people have felt it, some people haven't yet it's sort of unexplainable."

Zac received a "ten out of ten" for his kissing skills from co-star Taylor Schilling but was embarrassed by his mother's reaction when she saw his passionate scenes.

"That's my boy," Zac's mother said out loud while watching it to his bemusement.
