Khiladi Akshay Kumar has done it again. After helping the draught affected farmers in the recent past, he has now supported the Chennai flood victims.

Following Shah Rukh Khan, who donated 1 crore for them, Akki too has followed the same for the relief work.

A source says,"After seeing the shocking visuals of rain affected Chennai, Akshay wanted to help the people and in this regard he called director Priyadarshan, who in turn directed him to contact Suhasini Mani Ratnam."

Considering Suhasini's suggestion, the actor donated 1 crore to Bhoomika Trust. This trust is actively supporting the flood victims by preparing and distribution edibles since the city was hit by this natural calamity.
