Kollywood will remain idle without any activities on 19th March, as the Tamil Film Producers Council has called for a one-day strike, to express his dissatisfaction over the act of workers.
However, the Film Employees Federation of South India has denied all the allegations against its members, stating that a section of producers were against fixing fare wages to workers. 'They are leveling charges against it,' FEFSI said.
The problem between workers and producers started last week, after the shooting of Karthi Sivakumar's upcoming movie Alex Pandian came to a halt at Pallavaram in Chennai.
While producers said that workers hindered the shooting and they were instigated by director Ameer, film employees denied the allegation and said that they were being insulted and ill-treated by producers.
