Actress Gayathrri is thrilled! The actress who shot to fame with 'Happy Days' has bagged her maiden Tamil flick, 'Madagaja Raja'. She is being cast opposite Santhanam in the film, which has Vishal in the lead.

She has already shot for the opening schedule of the film in 'Pollachi' recently and she seems to have had a great time.

"Director Sundar C is one of the most friendly person you will ever meet. I had an incredible time in Pollachi, it's such a fun team. The film is going to be one awesome entertainer," says Gayathrri.

The actress, who was last seen playing second lead in 'Gabbar Singh', surprisingly has no Telugu film in her kitty, despite the record breaking success of the movie.

"Well, I got a lot of appreciation for my performance, but nothing interesting has come my way, since. It seems like everybody wants to cast me in the same role again. Thankfully, director Sundar approached me with a different one," she says.
