J.P. Dutta is back and finally with a war film at which he is best at. Helmed films like 'Border', 'LOC Kargil' and 'Refugee', here it is his upcoming film titled 'Paltan' and the makers just gave away its first look poster that introduces the main solo cast of the film.

The posters of Jackie Shroff, Arjun Rampal, Gurmeet Choudhary, Harshvardhan Rane, Luv Sinha and Siddhanth Kapoor are out and everyone has given an intense look from what we get a glimpse of. We can surely sense that Jackie Shroff would really have a high rank in the film, probably a colonel or a brigadier. While Arjun Rampal, Sonu Sood and Harshvardhan Rane look like the senior cadets. The film also marks the debut of Sonakshi Sinha's brother Luv Sinha.

The film is set to hit silver-screen on 7th of September and we just cannot wait to see battlefield scenes in this war film. Interestingly, Gurmeet Choudhary, who plays the role of an army officer in the film, said that he was trained by his father for his Army man role, "My father served the army and his motherland for several years. He used to impart training to new recruits."

Moreover, J P Dutta is returning on the director's seat after 12 long years. His last film was Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer 'Umrao Jaan', which released in 2006. 'Paltan' also stars Sonal Chauhan and Deepika Kakkar in a pivotal role.
