'2 States' starring Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor has turned out to be one of the highest grossing films of 2014. 

The family entertainer has surpassed the 100 Crore mark in the domestic market.

Despite several new releases including Hollywood flick, 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2', '2 States' held its position strong at the box office in its third week and has maintained the pace in the fourth running week. 

With such terrific response garnered for the love story adapted from Chetan Bhagat's famed novel of the same name, the filmmakers are extremely happy with the response. 

Says Sajid Nadiadwala, "Firstly 'Highway' had such a tremendous response. The critics and the audience appreciated it. And now with '2 States', I am very emotional right now. I am happy that the entire nation has loved the film."
