Today every other Bollywood film is either being made in 3D or is converted into 3D post the completion of its shooting.

Be it a sci-fi film like 'Ra.one', a thriller like 'Don 2' or a horror film like 'Haunted 3D'; the latest technology is being used across genres and filmmakers are utilizing it to the maximum.

However, just when we expect another film that by default suits the format of 3D, the makers stun us by making the flick in 2D.

The talked about film is 'Krrish 3', not only is it a sci-fi film, but also a superhero flick and it having 3D technology was almost obvious. But the makers do not want to take any risks, and instead of pumping money into making it in 3D, they are shooting the film simply in the regular format without any add-ons. 

They haven't yet decided if they will release the film in 3D or not, but they are certainly not shooting it in 3D. 

Nonetheless, towards the end of the shooting if they feel that the film could turn out better in 3D, they may convert it before its release.
