Off late, there has been a social campaign doing the rounds that actor Aamir Khan is supporting the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).

Lots of candidates of AAP have used twitter which has been populated with an image that is making an impression that Aamir has been endorsing AAP.

However, Aamir has rubbished these rumors and written to the election commission clarifying that he is not endorsing any particular political party. He has asked the election commission to take immediate action on the same as this has been done without his consent.

Even though Aamir from the start has been supportive to encourage people to vote, he has never endorsed a specific political party.

Spokesperson of Aamir confirms the news and adds, "Aamir Khan from day one has made it clear that he will not be endorsing a particular political party. He is not supporting or campaigning for any political party."
