Aamir Khan to stand by Chhattisgarh

Bollywood superstars like Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan have been highly active on the social front as they have been bestowed with the honor of promoting respective states in India.

While Big B is the brand ambassador of Gujrat, SRK was appointed as West Bengal's brand representative. And now the latest to join the list is Aamir Khan.

The star who is being looked upon as a social crusader post the success of his reality show 'Satyamev Jayate', has been reportedly signed in to be the brand ambassador of Chhattisgarh.

He has been brought on board to promote the paddy production in the state and he will also be officially announced as a brand ambassador in the coming weeks.

"Bollywood star Aamir Khan will be the brand ambassador of Chhattisgarh, hopefully by March. He will promote paddy production in Chhattisgarh. We are in talks with him and will take a final call on it soon," said state agriculture minister Chandra Sekhar Sahu.
