After giving a series of flops like 'Game' and 'Players' in recent times, the success of 'Bol Bachchan' has come as a great relief for Abhishek Bachchan who finally has churned out a hit after a dry run at box office. And this success has got him over the moon and has left him on a high.
"I feel on top of the world. We work for appreciation from audiences and critics alike. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, and I take it in my stride," said Abhishek who is indulging in the film's overwhelming success at box office.
He was generous enough to pass on the credit for the success to the whole team, "I don't believe in taking the credit alone. The whole team has worked on it and I am proud of being a part of Bol Bachchan", added Abhishek who realizes that being a superstar's son has got him ample of opportunities but it is only the work that gains you the name.
"People have accused me of having it easy because I am Amitabh Bachchan's son. Yes, I am his son, and I've never run away from it. I work hard to make him proud. I know I have a silver spoon in my mouth, and there are other talented people around, but I never thought it my place to refute that. People won't understand," said Abhishek.
He isn't taking Bol Bachchan's success as a counter attack to silence his critics, instead he believes in doing good work endlessly. "It doesn't matter if I do or don't silence my detractors. If this Friday was a sad one, I know next Friday is around the corner. There are no free lunches in life. You have to earn it. I am paying my dues," added Jr. AB who has certainly come a long way battling struggles and failures.
