It looks like Santhanam will strike gold as a producer this time around. Sources think his maiden production venture 'Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya' is shaping up well.

"Even a few weeks before the project hit the floors, there was a hype about the film. The first schedule was completed within weeks and the second schedule is now on a fast track", said sources.

Santhanam, Dr. Srinivasan and V.T.V. Ganesh play lead roles in this movie. Model-turned-actress, Vishakha is the leading lady. The film is jointly produced in association with Santhanam by veteran Ramanarayanan.

It is said that all the shooting will be completely over by mid-September and post production will go on for three weeks.

"In all probablity, 'Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya' will see the light of the day sometime in October,' add sources.
