Adam Levine isn't prepared to "slow down" until he has kids.
The 33-year-old Maroon 5 frontman released the band's new album Overexposed last month.
Adam has also appeared as a coach alongside Cee Lo Green and Christina Aguilera on US TV talent show The Voice for the past two seasons.
Adam is interested in becoming a family man in the future, but not anytime soon.
"I think I've got a few years before a family happens, if I'm honest," he said.
"It's going to happen, inevitably. I love kids and I want a family but I wouldn't be able to be a very good father right now so I'm going to wait until I can be. I'll slow it down when I have a family. I'm 33 but I'm still a baby in a lot of ways, the way that I act especially."
Overexposed is Maroon 5's fourth studio album and Adam reveals that he doesn't have a concrete plan in place to make another LP.
"I say that all the time, that every record may be our last," he shared.
"For me, to make a plan at this point is just stupid. The best way for me is to just live and hope you land in a good place."
