(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Adele has joked Jay-Z smells like money, which she finds delicious.

The talented British singer is set to release her second album, called 21, having captured the attention of music lovers with her strong, unique voice three years ago. Despite winning two Grammy Awards in 2009, the star admits her prowess in the industry still hasnt sunk in.

She still finds it surreal bumping into industry veterans, and was blown away by how many famous stars she saw at the prestigious awards ceremony.

The whole Grammys thing was so weird. I was in the hallway waiting to go in and Paul McCartney kept walking past, she explained to Q magazine. Standing in a queue with Jay-Z, Kanye and Will.i.am... It was like an actual dream. I felt so out of place. [Jay-Z smells] delicious. He smells like money!

The 22-year-old says her latest LP charts her experiences with her ex-boyfriend. On the record, Adele tells of how she learnt a lot about herself after breaking up with him and that this lesson will serve her well in the future. Its about my last relationship which was my first sort of life-defining one. He was a little older than me and hed had a lot more experiences... No one did anything wrong; we just grew out of each other. But it was so intense, she said.

The stars debut disc, 19, also documented her splitting up with a lover. But, while Adele is pleased to have become wiser thanks to her romantic failures, she doesnt want every release to be on the same subject. Hopefully thats not going to be a running theme and I dont start doing it on purpose, she added. My first record, I was very naive I thought I did everything right, On that record the guy was made out to be a complete and utter ****. On this one, I know Im not as good a girlfriend as I thought I was. Thats a thing that comes with age. (C) Cover Media
