Adele had to undergo throat surgery recently to save her award-winning voice, but it appears she has experienced another side effect from the operation.
The British pop sensation posted a picture of herself on Twitter today which appears to show that she has lost quite a few pounds and depicts a slimmer looking face.
The image shows the 23-year-old with more defined cheekbones and a slender torso.
She posed with her usual beehive and beautifully made up face and was proof that she was returning to great health after her surgery in November.
"Back on the grind," she captioned the picture. "Hair and make up did. Merry Christmas! Axx."
Adele is apparently ready to move from London to a new home in West Sussex to help her recover from the operation which was to repair a hemorrhaged vocal cord.
"The operation went well but she still needs to take good care of herself," a source told Britain's Daily Mirror.
"Adele is a London girl through and through but she's never been particularly into the showbiz circuit so when it was suggested she move out of the city she agreed immediately. The idea is for her to live in the countryside away from the capital's smog and pollution."
The Someone Like You singer had to cancel several concerts in recent months because of her throat ailments but is said to be doing all she can to be ready to appear at the Grammy's next February where she is nominated for six awards.
