Taylor Armstrong has revealed that she is in no way ready for a new relationship after the suicide of her estranged husband Russell back in August.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star was left devastated after the financier hanged himself as a result of money worries and pressure of being on the reality show.

He left behind their five-year-old daughter Kennedy as well as two sons from previous relationships.

But the 40-year-old socialite says that despite reports to the contrary, she is not ready to date yet.

"I am learning to love myself," Taylor told Star magazine while volunteering for 1736 Family Crisis Center recently. "I'm OK being by myself and just being a mom."

"I've got to make sure that my little girl is in the best place possible before anything else. I am having a blast with my little girl. I need some Taylor time for now."

Taylor had alleged that Russell was physically abusive towards her during their marriage and says she now wants to help fellow victims.

"I have a domestic violence background from my childhood," Taylor shared. "The subject is something that is very near and dear to me."

"I am not qualified [to give advice]. Sometimes people just need to talk and share their stories. It's nice just to have someone to listen to you. And then they know they are talking to someone that can actually relate."
