(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Adele writes a diary because she finds it hard to remember all her career accolades.

The 23-year-old British singer shot to fame in 2008 with debut record 19 and is currently enjoying success across the globe with her second studio album 21.

The songstress admits she finds it hard to keep up with her hectic showbiz lifestyle, and so writes down everything she does for something to look back on and feel proud of when she's older.

"I write everything I do, keep a log, it's so hard to remember everything," she explained to BBC Radio One, adding that the diary is strictly factual.

"I did it on my first album too, every show I've done. It's not like a private diary."

While Adele likes to note down all her adventures, she isn't keen on keeping fans up-to-date via social-networking site Twitter. The star enjoys reading what her fellow musicians, such as UK rapper Example, have been up to, but thinks if she started posting messages she'd get herself in trouble.

"I didn't like it at the beginning but I do check other peoples - people I find funny. I think Example is the funniest, he's the funniest I ever look at," she enthused.

"I put my foot in it all the time so I don't wanna be on Twitter." (C) Cover Media
