After Rocking Russia and Kazakhstan, Hichki travels to China

Rani Mukerji starrer 'Hichki' has won critical acclaim and box office success as well. It was Rani's comeback Bollywood film in which she essayed the role of a Tourette syndrome teacher ambitious about her job. Siddharth P Malhotra directorial earned raving reviews at the Shanghai International Film festival and Indian Film Festival of Melbourne as well.

Now after rocking Russia and Kazakhstan this YRF film is all set to release in China on 12th October titled as 'Teacher With Hiccup'. Indian cinema is valued in China and its a great move to step further out of our boundaries recent films like Aamir Khan's 'Dangal', 'Secret Superstar' and Salman Khan's 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' turned out to be a tremendous hit in China.

Speaking about the release in China, Mukerji said, "It's truly amazing when films can cross over to different cultures and languages because of its universal story. 'Hichki' is a reflection of society, a reflection of how we all have weaknesses and we need to overcome them to make the world a better place. Social dramas find a connect with audiences in China and I am hopeful that my film with resonate with everyone especially the teachers, students and parents."

It will be interesting to see what response will the film earn commercially as content-driven films are always admired in China.
