Enjoying the success 'Stree' as it enters the 100 cr club, Rajkummar Rao warms up for his upcoming project 'Made in China' that also stars Mouni Roy as his wife. The film already went on floors and would be shot in the exclusive location of Ahmedabad as the story revolves around a struggling ambitious businessman who tastes success in an unexpected way.
The makers gave away the Rajkummar and Mouni's character look from the film on Monday. Sharing their respective first look from the film Rajkummar Rao tweeted,"Meet Raghu & Rukmini. They look like an introvert couple as Mouni's shy face and Rao's innocent smile gives a depth to their characters.
In the film, Mouni is all set to play Rao's supportive wife, whereas Mikhil Musale marks his directorial debut. Speaking about casting Dinesh Vijan said, "We wanted someone who'd connect with the heartland and Mouni, a typical Indian beauty, has a huge fan following. She has a strong personality but gentle eyes and is a good dancer which is essential for the role as her character has a passion for classical Indian dance having learnt it."
