The pretty looking Akshara Haasan, sister of Shruti Haasan who has catered supporting roles in films is turning towards digital content. The 26-year old is roped in for a web series based on the book 'Good Bye Girl', about an 18-year-old girl's quest for justice as she seeks revenge against the rich and powerful who have wronged her in the most inhuman way.
Akshara will be playing the lead. Aditya Datt is in the directing seat who has helmed films like 'Aashiq Banaya Aapne' and 'Table No. 21'. It will be interesting to see Akshara exploring the digital world getting under the skin of her character. Akshara is popularly known for her work in 'Shamitabh'.
The web-series will be produced by Sohail Maklai and Girish Johar who have acquired the rights from the author Sheeja Jose, who also has television shows like 'Adalat' and 'Maano Ya Na Maano' to her credit.
She will also undergo intense and rigorous training for the extensive thrills. Interestingly, the web-series will be choreographed under the supervision of a reputed international action co-ordinator who will join on board for this web series. The series will be majorly shot in Delhi and Bangkok.
