The year 2012 has bought a mixed bag of emotions for Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar who has been juggling his personal and professional responsibilities with great efforts. 

The actor who has hit two super hits this year in the name of 'Housefull 2' and 'Rowdy Rathore' has been on his toes as his two productions are on floors and his father-in-law Rajesh Khanna's is also unwell. 

Akshay has not only been shooting rigorously, but has also been attending his father-in-law at regular intervals. He has not only been fulfilling dual responsibilities as a producer and actor in his professional life, but he has been performing dual responsibilities in his personal life too. 

Other than taking care of his ailing father-in-law, the actor has also been keeping a tab on his wife Twinkle's health who is expecting their second child. 

All of this has taken a toll on Akshay's health, as one of the fittest actors of tinsel town had to cancel his shoot due to a viral infection.

He had to cancel the shoot of 'Khiladi 786', however he shot for some minor scenes of 'Oh My God' with Paresh Rawal.

Both of the mentioned films are being made under his production. Both of these can't be delayed as he is expected to soon start Milan Luthria's 'Once Upon a time in Mumbaai 2' as well. 

Hope Akshay is relieved of his illness as we'd like to see our loved 'Khiladi' back in action.
