Akshay Kumar's 'Airlift', an evacuation thriller, is a story of how a tycoon named Ranjit Katyal played by Akshay who has always seen himself as a Kuwaiti rather than an Indian, unknowingly becomes the man who saves huge number of Indians stranded in Kuwait from the Iraqi invasion and brings them back to India safely.

At some point of the film, Akshay is required to speak in Arabic and therefore, he has been training in Arabic to acquire the correct dialect and finally, he has delivered dialogues in the respective language.
