A few months back Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar was offered to play Lord Krishna in a play based film titled "Krishna Vs Kanhaiya" . He was apparently willing to co-produce the flick. But now we hear that Akshay despite of co-producing the film has has shared his displeasure at the aspect of playing the ‘God’ in the film. The film has now been titled as "Oh My God’" and will be directed by Umesh Shukla.
A television producer Ashvini Yardi who happens to be Akshay's good friend will co-produce the film with him. But the reason he gave behind his last minute walk out from the film was his packed schedule. He has five films lined up for the year 2012 and he has no dates to spare. He has Shirish Kunder's "Joker" , Prabhu Deva's "Rowdy Rathore", Milan Luthria's "Once Upon A Time in Mumbai’s sequel, Ashish Mohan's "Khiladi 786" and Neeraj Pandey's "Special Chabbis" . Hence he couldn’t allot date for his own project.
The film is a story about the clash between an atheist and God and was supposedly slated to go on floors in January 2012. But as Akshay couldn’t spare dates for this one and he will be replaced by either Salman Khan or Ajay Devgn.
