(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Alexa Chung says shes too much of a show off to ever take drugs.

The 26-year-old British star has been living in America recently, where she was presenting a show for MTV. Before that she hosted programmes in the UK and also worked as a model.

Alexa is very aware of how lucky she is. She cant think of anything else she would rather be doing, not least because very few careers would suit her personality so well.

Im too much of a show-off not to have done all this. Id have been a nightmare otherwise. Imagine if I hadnt had a way to express myself, she mused. Its why I dont do drugs. Ive never even tried coke. My friends are like, Alexa, no! I would be a real problem.

Although she loves her job, Alexa is keen to point out it isnt her whole life. There are other things which are much more important to her, such as her relationship with Arctic Monkeys rocker Alex Turner.

I dont take it as seriously as people think. Its something I fell into I very much see it as being lucky, she told the British edition of Elle magazine. Ive never had any long-term plans. Its not like I have things I want to achieve. (C) Cover Media
