8th August 2011

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Amber Riley has confessed she kept forgetting her microphone when she was performing on the Glee Live! tour.

The cast from the popular US TV show have been touring around the world singing the best-loved songs from the programme about a group of high school misfits. Stars including Lea Michele, Chris Colfer and Amber who plays feisty Mercedes Jones loved entertaining their fans in different countries and have now revealed what really happened backstage.

"I took a lot of bathroom breaks," Amber Riley confessed to ET. "And I left my microphone in the bathroom a couple times."

Lea, who plays ambitious Rachel Berry in the show, admits she liked to improvise during their live performances. She enjoyed making each concert a different experience and often surprised the crowd by appearing on stage midway through a song.

"Towards the end of the run of the concert tour when we were in Europe we started tailoring it to what we wanted to do," she explained. "So sometimes I wasn't in River Deep... And then some days I just decided to run on."

Amber also revealed that Mercedes will be getting a love interest in the new series of the show, describing the mystery man as athletic.

"I haven't met him but I'm excited," she smiled.

Meanwhile, it has been revealed that Jane Lynch's character Sue Sylvester doesn't feature in the Glee 3D movie. The announcement was made at a press conference before the premiere on Saturday. However, creator Ryan Murphy insists the tracksuit wearing cheerleading coach will appear in the DVD version of the film.

"We're doing another version in a couple of weeks on DVD," Ryan said. "Jane will be on that. We'll do it that way."

Over the weekend, another cast member revealed they will also be graduating in the new series. Naya Rivera insists it is the natural progression for her character, tough talking Santana Lopez.

"I'm a senior. I guess that means I'm graduating. That's what happens when you're a senior! I don't think it's a thing," she said. "It's like, what is it when you're in high school? You're a senior, you graduate. Yes, I'm graduating this year.

"Hopefully she gets into some type of college, but I think she's going to be a hot mess in college."

It has already been announced that Lea, Chris and Cory Monteith will be graduating from McKinley High school and leaving the show after the current season.

Series four of Glee will be broadcast in the US later this month. (C) Cover Media
