Even though 'Bang Bang' minted more moolah at the box office than 'Haider', Shahid Kapoor doesn't seem to be upset with it.

Shahid in a recent interaction with the paparazzi said, "Sometimes you see a lot of films that are not considered mainstream and tend to get picked up [for the Oscars] because those film-makers don't have worries like, 'How will I make the people of this country like it?' They make cheaper, smaller and tighter films, and want to experiment with the kind of audience that might like it."

Now we think he is definitely hoping for an Oscar or at least to enter the race by getting a nomination in the prestigious award.
