Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' is currently in the making and the makers just unveiled its first look still from the film. Meanwhile, we are hit by nostalgia seeing the 'Haider' couple reuniting for their next. The pic embraces innocence as Shraddha has her tongue out while Shahid Kapoor has a huge smile on his face, making us sense the same chemistry from Vishal Bhardwaj's Haider.

The duo will be seen collaborating with each other after four long years but things still look the same and the chemistry is even better. Shraddha shared the snap on her official Instagram handle and captioned it,"Fellow fishie #BATTIGULMETERCHALU @shahidkapoor."

The film had legal controversy with film's former co-production house KriAj Entertainment. However, as per the recent report in a leading daily, the matter has taken an ugly turn with T-Series moving the court yet again over receiving the final injunction against KriArj. Reportedly, the lawsuit is against Prernaa Arora and her team on the accusations of them acquiring a permanent injunction and declaration in matters of certain rights of T-series. The court has also asked KriArj to file their statements in written form.

Helmed by  Shree Narayan Singh, the film is a story of a village where there is no electricity but still, they are being charged for its usage. The film is slated to release on August 31.
