Filmmaker Rohit Shetty has been in the news for his latest announcement about the remake of 'Ram Lakhan'. Since then only Jacqueline Fernandez was heard to have signed the film.

However, there are speculations that Rohit might rope in Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone for his next.

While some say that the pair will be seen together in the remake of 'Ram Lakhan', a reliable source suggests it's altogether a different movie.

For the time being, Deepika is gearing up for the grand premiere of 'Happy New Year' in Dubai and Ranbir is busy shooting for 'Jagga Jasoos' with ladylove Katrina Kaif.

So if everything goes well, then the duo might once again sizzle on the silver screen, post Ayan Mukerji's blockbuster 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' in 2013.

Apart from Jacqueline, rumour had it Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan were also approached for the remake.
