Angelina Jolie has reportedly splashed out one million on a helicopter and flying lessons for Brad Pitt.

It was recently speculated that Brad wanted a landing site on the grounds of the couple's estate in France and now further details have emerged. Angelina realised how much her fianc wanted to have his own helicopter, so decided to surprise him with the lavish gift.

"They've had a helicopter pad installed in the grounds of their south of France home, Chteau Miraval," a source told British newspaper The Sun. "So Ange thought it would be nice to buy Brad a helicopter as a surprise present. In particular, they would like to be able to fly to and from Cannes.

"But even though Brad has his private pilot's licence, he still needs to take a few flying lessons which he'll start straight away."

Brad and Angelina are believed to be planning to get married at their property in France, which is being extensively renovated.

It has been claimed that the 48-year-old hunk wants everything to be perfect for the nuptials, which will reportedly take place later this year, and wants to make it as easy as possible for his guests to attend.

"Brad's spent over 10 million already," a source recently told Grazia. "Now he's offering hefty bonuses to workers to complete it by summer. He's even trying to organise an aeroplane landing site in the grounds for guests to come in by private jet but that's proving rather tricky, what with permits and no-fly zones."

Brad's ex-wife Jennifer Aniston is said to be happy for the couple and recently sent them a 500 bouquet of flowers to celebrate their engagement and the Cannes Film Festival, where Brad has a film showing.
