(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Angelina Jolie thinks raising her children in Europe makes logistical sense.

The 35-year-old actress raises six children with her partner Brad Pitt; sons Maddox, nine, and six-year-old Pax, daughters Zahara, five, and Shiloh, four, and two-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

Despite her hectic lifestyle, the film beauty has expressed her delight that she is able to raise her offspring in an area surrounded by many personal landmarks.

I like bringing them up in Europe, just because logistically its so much closer to the rest of the world and where some of them were born. So its important to me that they stay in an area where I can take them on a plane and in five hours get them to North Africa. They had an extraordinary experience in Italy and they loved it, she revealed.

Angelina is currently starring in The Tourist with fellow Hollywood heavyweight Johnny Depp. The star revealed details of their first meeting on set and why their children were the main topic of discussion.

We both love kids and we talked a lot about them. In our first meeting thats all we talked about kids and schools and the school run, how do you travel with them when you make films. It wasnt very exciting for most people, we had a mom and dad talk, she added.

Johnny has previously spoken of his fondness for Angelina following their time together lauding her as an impressive human being. Angelina repaid the compliment, also crediting the actor for his creativity and humour.

He is an extremely interesting artist, he is so creative - such an interesting painter and musician and actor. He is such a nice person and such a funny person; we had a lot of laughs, she concluded. (C) Cover Media
