The blond-haired American beauty is best known for playing vixen Naomi Clark in US drama 90210. She knows her hobby will come as a surprise to many, explaining her love of pistols is partly due to the place she grew up.

"I'm from Atlanta. You can take the girl out of the south, but you can't take the south out of the girl," she told People magazine while celebrating the launch of the Fallout: New Vegas video game. "I like to shoot guns!"

But young star, who is also the Goodwill Ambassador for the Blind Project in America, will not settle for any old pistol when it comes to her favourite sport.

Just as she might lust after her next knock-out designer outfit, AnnaLynne desires a gun with a handle made from Mother of Pearl to add to her collection. In particular, she has her eyes on a Colt M1911.

But unless she is sat in front of a games consol, the actress will stick to shooting at ranges and stationary targets.

"I like to shoot targets that are not living," she said. "Unless they're on a video game, then I don't mind spreading some blood." (C) Cover Media
