(Cover) - EN Star Style - Anne Hathaway thought "skinny was the goal" when training for her role as Catwoman in the upcoming Batman film The Dark Knight Rises.
The Hollywood actress is starring as the seductive antihero in Christopher Nolan's final installment of the Batman series, and is finding the part to be a physical challenge.
The stunning star says that while she initially thought slimming down her figure was the ultimate goal, she soon realised she also needed muscles.
"I've always thought that skinny was the goal, but with this job I also have to be strong," she told the new issue of US magazine Harper's Bazaar.
Anne is renowned for her alabaster complexion, and says she often has to make her fashion choices based on the paleness of her skin. The 28-year-old has revealed she chose pink nail varnish for her magazine shoot, because red highlights her already pale skin.
"My feet are so pale, the dark red will just make them look more so. I'll go with the pink," she mused.
Anne has revealed she has a "zany" side when it comes to fashion. The brunette beauty, who feels more at home wearing more interesting combinations of clothes, has recalled a particular incident when her mom appreciated her wacky sense of fashion.
"I was wearing some zany outfit, and my mom just smiled at me," she recalled. "And I said, 'What?' She said, 'It's you. You look like yourself.'" (C) Cover Media
