Anne Hathaway bought safe for script

19th July 2012

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Anne Hathaway was so nervous she'd lose her Batman script she locked it up.

The actress portrays Selina Kyle/ Catwoman in Christopher Nolan's new movie The Dark Knight Rises. Christopher was famously secretive about the film's storyline and Anne felt under pressure not to reveal anything.

"I felt nervous having a script. I wound up getting a safe just to put it in because I was so scared that I was going to be the one to lose it," she laughed.

This is the director's third and final instalment in his Batman series. To prevent leaks, he decided to reduce the amount of people who knew about the plot.

"Not everybody got a script," Anne told the BBC. "I did but it was just one copy."

The actress is still amazed she landed such an iconic film role. The 29-year-old has gushed about her experience of portraying Catwoman.

"Right now I feel pretty great," she said at the movie's European premiere in London last night. "It's been such a beautiful ride. I can't say it's a dream come true because it's not anything I allowed myself to imagine but it certainly feels that way." (C) Cover Media
