(Cover) - EN Movies - Antonia Campbell-Hughes says television has given her a sustainable career in acting.

The Northern Irish actress has starred in a host of British television dramas and comedies and can be seen in Lotus Eaters, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival recently.

The star is best known for appearing in Spooks, Lead Balloon and Silent Witness. She says that she owes her steady work flow to British television.

I moved to England and got a job in British comedy, and thats kind of been my thing, you know. I did British comedy for years. It has given me a very sustainable career, she said in an interview with Cover Media.

Antonia is happy to say that her work is varied. The 28-year-old has revealed however that there is sometimes a frustrating divide between actors in film and television, which is annoying when people dont know about her past accomplishments.

Its funny, because in film nobody knows about [my television career]. And in British TV land they dont know about any of the little art films that I do. Theres a divide, but I think theyre both equally rewarding. I like the mix, she explained. (C) Cover Media
