Recently Bala's 'Avan Ivan' was censored and given a U/A Certificate and it was announced that it will be released by the second week of May. AGS Entertainments' 'Engeyum Kadhal' opened yesterday, which means that the film will be occupying theatres for the next few weeks. Close circles of AGS Entertainment are saying that the film's release is postponed to May 28th.

Since the film is touted to be a clean comedy entertainer unlike Bala's previous films, it is puzzling that the censor board committee members have given it an U/A certificate.

Yuvan Shankar Raja's songs have already topped the charts, with the songs 'Avanapathi' and 'Raasathi' becoming overnight chartbusters.
