Singer-composer, Bappi Lahiri will be honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the San Francisco Global Movie Fest.

Bappi said, "It feels great when the audiences love you. It is this adulation that keeps us alive and going. (I am) Eagerly looking forward to the San Francisco Global Movie Fest this August."

Presently, Bappi is popularly known for the songs like Tamma Tamma Loge and Oh la la la. The award event will held at August 7 and will run till August 14.

Bappi will be creating a buzz soon for his latest album release, 'Slumstars' which is a tribute to little children with fire in their heart and melody on their lips.
