(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Halle Berry's contentious relationship with her ex Gabriel Aubry is said to have a "negative impact" on their daughter.

The actress shares four-year-old daughter Nahla with Canadian model Gabriel.

Halle and Gabriel have been embroiled in a bitter custody battle over Nahla for years.

A custody evaluation report conducted on both parents has revealed that their feud may detrimentally affect Nahla in years to come.

"[The report] minces no words, and outlines in detail the fact that Halle and Gabriel can't get along. They had a very bitter break-up, and there are lingering issues of anger and mistrust of BOTH parents. The person that this is hurting is of course, Nahla," a source told Radar Online. "She loves both of her parents very much, and there is absolutely no question that Gabe and Halle are devoted to their little girl. The report asserts that as the little girl gets older, if her parents aren't able to get along, it could have a very negative impact on her life."

Halle desires to move to France with her fianc Olivier Martinez and Nahla.

A custody trial, where the judge will evaluate whether or not Halle is legally able to relocate, will commence later this month. (C) Cover Media
