(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Beth Ditto has revealed Sister Act is her favourite film.

The Gossip singer who shot to fame in 2006 thanks to the success of the bands track, Standing in The Way of Control says that she doesnt really know what the comedy film is about but thinks Whoopi Goldberg is amazing in it.

The 30-year-old is famed for her outrageous style and outspoken nature. She has admitted that the film appeals to her because she likes the idea of nuns letting loose.

I dont know what it is about, but I just love Whoopi Goldberg. Shes amazing every role that she does, shes so underestimated and underrated, she told NME magazine. And I love the idea of nuns running around and going wild!

The songstress also gushed about Whoopis approach to the film industry. The 55-year-old star has a clutch of awards including a Grammy, two Emmys, two Golden Globes, a Tony, and an Oscar. She has also been honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Beth says she appreciates the actress contribution to the entertainment industry.

When shes given a script she always goes through it as a black woman and asks for things to be changed if theyre not accurate to life. Thats just really amazing, she added. (C) Cover Media
