(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Beyonc Knowles says husband Jay-Z's next job in life is to be an "inspirational father".

The 30-year-old songstress is expecting her first child with rapper Jay-Z in February next year.

Both stars have forged hugely successful careers in the music industry.

Beyonc is thrilled with the prospect of becoming a parent and says dynamic Jay-Z will be an excellent father.

"Of course he will be!" she exclaimed when asked if Jay-Z will make a good dad.

"His music has inspired millions of people over the last two decades, but he inspires all the people around him on a more personal level, too. He's an inspirational artist, friend and husband, and his next step is to be an inspirational father.

"He's everything you could ask for in a husband and friend."

Beyonc has also discussed her unusual food cravings. The stunning star keeps a particular condiment to hand to complement everything she eats.

"I don't know if you'd call it weird, but I'm having ketchup with everything," she revealed in an interview with Closer magazine.

"I mean, I liked it before I was pregnant, but I now literally won't eat anything without it. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner I need to have a bottle of ketchup close to hand."

Beyonc says former bandmate and best friend Kelly Rowland will be integral to her baby's life. The singer is proud of Kelly's career achievements.

"Kelly is my sister it's that simple. I've known her since we were 16 and she's like another daughter to my mother," she gushed.

"Auntie Kelly is going to be so involved. I know she's spending a lot of time in the UK at the moment, but we still speak all the time.

"I think she's doing a great job on The X Factor and I'm so proud of her." (C) Cover Media
