September 25, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Bollywood star Akshay Kumar, who has got involved with several charitable works these days, will now invite you for having a breakfast with him but this is also for the same charitable reason.

The superstar has auctioned a breakfast date with himself for raising money to help the children with special needs. He has taken this decision to mark the 'Joy of Giving' week.

Recently Salman Khan has also auctioned a gym session for the same reason and now the 44 year old Akshay is taking this step following the Dabangg star. For this, he has collaborated with the online marketplace 'eBay'. All the money earned from this bidding will go to a charitable organization called 'Research Society'. This organization works for the children and individuals with special needs.

Akshay was quoted stating that he wants everyone, who would love to have a breakfast with him, to bid on this auction aimed at charity. He added that people just need to bid on the site to enjoy a morning meal with him at the Marriott on one Sunday morning.

This unique auction started on 22nd September and will conclude on 29th September, 2010. The starting rate of the bidding was Rs 1001.

The winner of this bidding can bring three more guests along with him to enjoy breakfast with the actor.

Akshay is a self-confessed foodie so one can expect to enjoy some yummy breakfast time with the superstar!
