Bollywood's millennium star Amitabh Bachchan has entered into the fifth decade of his career in films and the 69-year-old still is going strong at the box office.

He who began his career in 1969 has come a long way to become one of the biggest stars this country has ever seen. And with more than 180 films under his belt, his lifetime as an actor is a history in itself.

Big B, who has always enjoyed being the darling of masses, claims that it is the people who have made him the star that he is today. 

"I am very humbled that people still consider me as their icon," said Amitabh who further expressed that he is amazed by fresh talent that is flooding the industry, "It is fantastic to see young boys and girls erupting out of nowhere, who may be professionally trained or not trained but are doing a fantastic job," added Bachchan.
